Ελληνική κεντητική, 17ος-19ος αιώνας. Έργα τέχνης από τις συλλογές του Μουσείου Victoria & Albert (Greek embroidery, 17th-19th century. Works of art from the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum)

Catalogue accompanying the exhibition that took place at the Benaki Museum Piraios Street Annexe from 12 April 2006 to 28 May 2006. A selection of 145 pieces of Greek embroidery, from the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Benaki Museum, is used in an attempt to provide a detailed record of three centuries of the art of embroidery, as it took shape throughout Greece. The publication includes a wealth of photographic material, which highlights the technical and illustrative worth of Greek embroidery in full detail. The introductory note and annotations are written by folklorist Tatiana Ioannou-Yiannara.
